This year started so well! On “Halloween” I spent my time after work, writing down a few more notes. At 11pm, I sat in a Denny’s with other writers staring at the clock. After some eggs it was midnight and I got to work cranking out page after page.
I attended several write-ins, won many word wars and devoted myself to this novel.
Then I started having some health issues. Couple that with things at work and the next thing I knew, I am behind again.
Today is the Night if Writing Glamorously in Santa Monica. I had RSVP to go but I think it might be beneficial for me to spend those extra hours writing instead of commuting to a restaurant.
Now I’m cutting this post short. My goal for today is 10,000 words. I’ll see if I can get it done.
