This was book 9 out of 100 for my 2017 Goodreads challenge.
A reader/writer has so many favorite authors that creating lists could last forever. There are some authors one loves because of their ability to deliciously scare you. Other writers have the ability to send you to a world where you can just get lost and forget about all the bills, work, kids. Writers can touch us in different ways for different reasons.
One writer who I fell in love with is Brom. Not only is he an amzing weaver of yarns but he is an incredible artist. Yes, I know writer can (and usually does) mean artist but I mean Brom just takes the cake. If you do not know what I mean just take a look at the art work of some of my favorites by Brom:

As a fan, I could barely contain my excitement at the release Lost Gods. Especially when I caught a glimpse of the cover.

The practical side of me planned on purchasing the ebook as per usual. However, the fan in me really wanted to own a physical copy of the book. I wanted to be able to hold the book in my hands and be able to look at each picture as one looks at paintings in a museum. In the end, my practical side fell to the wayside and I now own a hardcover copy of this book.
In a previous blog post, I had mentioned that I am a contributing member to the website: theinkblotters.com. Recently, I posted a full review on Brom’s Lost Gods at that page. You can find my review here. While there, feel free to give the page a follow.
Not all of my book reviews will be posted at theinkblotters. I recently completed all of Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy books and those reviews will be posted right here (had to fight not to use that pun).
Enjoy the book review and happy reading!
